This VOLVO PENTA PROP SHAFT SEAL is the molded packing or stuffing box for the prop shaft. The VOLVO PENTA PROP SHAFT SEAL is water-lubricated and an environmentally friendly alternative to older standard packing stuffed grease-lubricated propeller shaft bearing seals. Each Volvo shaft seal is supplied complete with installation tools and a tube of grease.
This seal is a well tested and proven product for sealing and lubricating a shaft. It can be used on any vessel fitted with a propeller shaft and is easy to assemble. Apart from an annual injection of the special Volvo Penta grease supplied in the package, this bearing seal requires very little maintenance.
